Hello, my name is Jia Kang👋
I am currently pursuing my diploma in computer engineering, Computer Networking and Security Pathway. I am proficient in Programming, Web development, and computer networking, with a keen interest in ethical hacking. I actively hone my cybersecurity skills by participating in capture-the-flag competitions, learning and practising in rooms on TryHackMe!

In my free time, I love to complete new CTF room's on TryHackMe and write guides/walkthrough to help others that are struggling!
Networking and Vulnerabilities⚠️
I often use TryHackMe's vast rooms and modules to touch-up on my networking
and equip myself with new skills and learn about common vulnerabilities and preventions such as SQL Injections💉, Server-side Template Injections, Server-side Request Forgery📜, etc. Using these resources I'm also able to equip myself with new enumeration and exploitation tactics and technqiues.
Self-Hosting 
My interest in self-hosting stems from the joy and experience I get from successfully setting up services I use daily, instead of paying a monthly subscription for these common services. So far, I have set up a backup file server📂 which allows file sharing on the local network with the ability to handle a single drive failure (Windows Raid 5 Configuration). I have also set up a VPN on the same server which allows for remote connectivity into my home network allowing access to any files and systems remotely.
